Advocacy
The Circuit has established a leadership role in bringing the local Information Technology industry's high-priority positions and
concerns to the attention of federal, state and local policymakers and media.
Our goal has been, and will continue to be, working to promote IT's robust growth and contribution to the new economy.
Information sharing is the foundation of The Circuit's advocacy efforts. We work with Ohio’s IT Alliance to
promote the IT industry in the state and to promote key issues that affect our membership, such as:
- State Assistance to Technology Businesses: The Circuit advocated for the creation and expansion
of the State of Ohio’s Third Frontier program of support for technology and entrepreneurial
businesses in the State, and is an active participant in that program.
- Media Awareness: The Circuit, along with its members, has developed a strong media
outreach campaign to help print, television, radio and other media outlets better understand
the role of both new and traditional IT businesses in the regional economy.
