About The Circuit
The Circuit is the non-profit Information Technology Association for the Greater Cincinnati region. We aspire to be the connecting point for all things Information Technology in the Greater Cincinnati community providing members industry education and the opportunity to connect and collaborate. The Circuit will develop new programs/events to fill identified gaps/interests of members and work with other groups in the region. We define the Technology Community as Fortune 500 through start-ups, vendors, technology companies, CIOs and individuals working in an information technology role.

- 8:30 – 11:30 one day per month starting in October – no session in December

- The Essence of Leadership
- Community Project Planning
- Technology Leadership: Why is it Unique?
- Is Management for Me?
- Transformational Leadership: Vision & Strategy
- Transactional Leadership: Delivering the Goods
- IT Budgeting/Financials
- Relational Leadership: The Business of People
- Higher Order Leadership: Leading other Leaders
- HR/Interviewing Tips and Career Management/Networking
- Each session will have an IT leader present to share their perspective on the topic.
- Peer-to-peer discussions in a vendor-free environment
Commitment
- Participant agrees to attend 9 of the 10 sessions in order to receive their Certification of Completion
- Participant and their manager will be asked to sign a “Commitment” document.
- Participant agrees to work with their cohort members outside of scheduled sessions to develop a community project that will help others in the IT community.
- Participant will have 2-4 hours of “homework” between each session.

Our team takes great pride in being a part of The Circuit, advancing our mission to be the connecting point for the IT Community in the region.
The IT Leadership Institute is a formal 10-month leadership training program developed specifically for IT professionals.
The Circuit’s IT Leadership Institute has been an insightful journey thus far. I have gained a more comprehensive understanding of the leader I am today, but most importantly the ITLI is helping me identify the type of leader I want and need to be in the future. The concepts shared in our meetings and the discussion with my peers have proven invaluable, elevating my self-awareness, promoting greater levels of introspection, and motivating me to become a better version of myself for my team and my organization. I would highly recommend individuals with a desire to expand their potential and become a more effective leader to consider attending the ITLI.
